Myotherapy
Myotherapy consists of assessing, treating and managing the pain associated with soft tissue injury and restricted joint mobility.
Shane brings an advanced understanding of connective tissue involvement, and as such has an array of technique based approaches to both better understand and treat soft tissue problems.
What to expect
A myotherapist performs soft tissue treatment. Your initial appointment will involve a detailed history and applicable testing will be done to determine the nature of presenting problems.
Gowns are provided and the treatment is performed with draping at all times.
Patients will leave the first appointment with a better understanding of the nature of their pain, and will receive treatment to address their condition. Strategies for home management and relevant exercises may also be discussed.
