Dr. Robert Testaz
Robert has over 35 years experience in Applied Kinesiology (AK) technique. He has special interests in care of elderly, veterans and resistance exercise training.
Dr. Amanda Fynmore
Amanda has special interests in the care of pregnant women and children’s health. She is certified in the Webster technique and AK.
Dr. Drew Russell
Drew was active in numerous sports and activities as a teenager and started seeing a Chiropractor to help with some injuries and to optimise performance. Recognising the benefits of Chiropractic, this led to him completing a 5-year double degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Chiropractic), graduating from RMIT with Distinction.
Prior to this Drew spent several years as a Remedial Massage Therapist and Sports Trainer. Drew has experience treating patients from paediatrics to geriatrics in Darwin as well as several clinics in Melbourne, including an Aged Care Facility.
Drew enjoys working with all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels with the aim to keep people active and moving so they can enjoy the activities they love. He particularly likes to help those involved in sport and fitness in order to reach their full potential. Having been involved in various sports and activities he understands the importance of biomechanics and how chiropractic care can help optimise function and overall health.
Personally, Drew enjoys staying fit and active and in his free time will often be hiking or exploring the local bushlands in the Macedon Ranges. He also enjoys exercising in his home gym, swimming, Taekwondo and has a love for all things food.
MYOTHERAPIST
Shane McNear
Shane started his therapy career in 2000 and has a solid background in sports injury from 7 years with the Victorian Premier League. He works predominately with treatment for soft tissue injury and rehabilitation as well as Dry Needling. Shane works on a wide assortment of people, from children to the elderly, treating pregnancies, sporting injuries and postural concerns.
DOCTOR OF CHINESE MEDICINE
Dr. Lana Van Raay
Lana is a registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine with the Australian Health Professional Registration Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). Lana has been in private practice since 2007, having completed her double Bachelor degree at RMIT and a clinical internship in the prestigious NanJing University Teaching Hospital University in China in 2006. She has worked in several clinics across Melbourne developing her individual technique in acupuncture deliverance. Her work experience in the Emergency department at Northern Hospital (2006) and Drug and Alcohol Unit at the Vaucluse Hospital (2008) have enabled her critical thinking and increased her exposure in pain management.
Lana also holds a Masters of Nursing Science, and is a Registered Nurse working with Western Health. She understands the conventional health system and treatment options, as well as an up to date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medications available.
This background of Eastern and Western medical knowledge gives Lana a broad approach in her field.
REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
Lisa Huynh
Lisa has completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at MIMT and is currently completing further studies to obtain her Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy.
Lisa assists individuals in achieving a better range of motion, decrease in pain and help aid with muscle recovery and relaxation. Her main techniques include; deep tissue massage, sports massage, relaxation massage and functional cupping.
She is a strong believer that the best long term recovery is achieved through strength training along with massage therapy and other allied health professionals.
